Ceci n’est PAS un passage protégé ! Par contre, c’est sans aucun doute un passage pour piétons, oui…

Quand on marche dans Amsterdam, on finit vite par avoir plus peur des vélos que des voitures ! Mais j’ai vachement bien aimé Amsterdam quand même (mais pas pour ses vélos, ses coffee-shop ou ses vitrines)

This is NOT a protected crossing for pedestrians… it’s just a crossing for pedestrian.

Walking in Amsterdam teaches you that you should beware so much more of the bicycles than of the cars. But I really loved Amsterdam (but not because of its bikes, coffee-shops or shop-windows)

Sablés au chocolat et à la fleur de sel

Fraîchement sortis du four, les p’tis sablés au chocolat d’un excellentissime livre de recettes des 3 soeurs.

Ce qu’on ne voit pas sur la photo, c’est que le dessous des sablés est crâmé… :’( Je m’appliquerai un peu plus sur la cuisson la prochaine fois (et après tout, c’était la première fois que je faisais la recette).

Just cooked chocolate shortbread biscuits, from the excellent book made by the 3 sisters.

On the photo, we can’t notice that the other side of the biscuits is burnt, unfortunately… Next time, I’ll pay more attention to the oven part of the recipe (by the way, it was my first try).

Je n’arrive pas à savoir si c’est une simple maison ou un genre de “monument”, il y a toujours de la lumière et c’est tant mieux parce que c’est très joli

Alors si vous passez par le coin de Pigalle et Montmartre, n’hésitez pas à faire un micro détour par là (et poussez même jusqu’à la place Lino Ventura, ya une ambiance sympathique par là-bas).

Au passage, cette photo est un assemblage de 4 photos (un peu comme pour un panoramique, en quelque sorte…)

I can’t find if this house is private or a kind of “monument”… Anyway, it’s a nice place, there’s always light in the house at night, giving to the place those beautiful colors.

So if ever you pass by Pigalle or Montmartre, don’t hesitate to make a stop there (and you can even go further to the Lino Ventura place, which has a sympathic atmosphere).
